Elicit in 2024 | AI for Researchers

ElicitIt is a useful AI tool for researchers, scientists and academics. It is the ideal tool for finding new articles on a specific research topic. It helps you find papers and can extract concepts from them. It can also extract information from PDFs. Elicit is very intuitive. You type your question into the box, and off you go. Or you upload an article. It then gives you the opportunity to choose which information you want to extract, which it then organises neatly in columns. They give you a few suggestions of things to extract or you can add your own. You can also use Elicit to extract a specific concept from research studies. Just add your concept, and Elicit will come up with a number of studies that refer to the concept. The free version can do a lot but limits the number of searches you can do. When your free 5000 credits are over, it's over forever. The Plus version also allows you to include up to eight sources when summarising a concept and allows you to export the results.
